Between a bad dream and a solitary walk in the dark streets of an endless city...

"The Endless City" has been a 5 months hard and lonely work. I had the ambition to write something between a bad dream and a solitary walk through an empty and mysterious infinite city, with inspiration like Blame!, Akira, Matrix, Portal, Blade Runner and a lot of popular sci-fi stories and universes from movies, books or video games.

Musically, I tried to blend some of my influences from differents horizons - synthwave and darkwave, of course, but also all kind of metal and baroque - to create something unique between a movie/video game soundtrack and a cloudy landscape filled with danger and mysteries.

One day I came across this title on YouTube and it intrigued me. The nostalgy hit me so much that I went back on IRC in 2019. Thanks to that, I met my girlfriend after being single for 15 years, and moved to a new town 6 hours away from me. All of that because of a click on that song.
